This site is delivered via Lovable (gptengineer.app, Stockholm). Backend services run on Supabase (eu-central-1, Frankfurt). On access, technically necessary data such as IP address and user agent are processed (Art. 6 (1) f GDPR).

If you create an account, I process your email address, an account ID and — if you sign in with Google — the name and profile data Google transmits. Purpose: providing your login and premium access (Art. 6 (1) b GDPR). Data is deleted when you delete your account. Requests: management@rubsterbest.com.

Settings you enter yourself (pool length, CSS pace, zone paces, default distance) as well as your training log, favourites and saved 8-week plans are stored in your account so sessions can be personalised (Art. 6 (1) b GDPR). They are visible only to you and are not shared with third parties.

If you take out a premium subscription, payment is processed by Stripe Payments Europe Ltd., 1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Dublin 2, Ireland. For this purpose your email address, an internal account ID and the subscription data are transmitted to Stripe; payment details (e.g. card data) are entered directly with Stripe and are never stored by us. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) b GDPR (performance of the contract). Stripe may transfer data to the USA on the basis of EU standard contractual clauses. In our own system we store the subscription status, plan, period end and the Stripe customer and subscription IDs. Invoice data is retained for the statutory retention period of up to 10 years (Art. 6 (1) c GDPR, § 147 AO). Stripe's privacy notice: stripe.com/privacy.

When you create an account you are informed that you may receive occasional emails about new sessions, training tips and product news; your consent is stored with a timestamp (Art. 6 (1) a GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time via the unsubscribe link in every email or by writing to management@rubsterbest.com, with no effect on the lawfulness of processing carried out until then.

To keep you signed in, your browser stores a technically necessary login token in local storage; Stripe sets technically necessary cookies inside the checkout for fraud prevention (§ 25 (2) TDDDG, Art. 6 (1) b/f GDPR). You can delete these values in your browser at any time, which signs you out.

I use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) to understand how the site is used and to improve it. Google processes pseudonymous usage data such as pages visited, session duration and device information. Your IP address is truncated within the EU/EEA before being stored. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) f GDPR (legitimate interest). You can object at any time via Google’s browser add-on or by adjusting your browser settings. Privacy notice: policies.google.com/privacy.

Account and training data are stored for as long as your account exists and are deleted when you delete it in your personal setup. Server logs are deleted or anonymised after a short period. Data subject to statutory retention obligations (in particular payment and invoice data) is kept until those periods expire and is blocked from further use in the meantime.

All typefaces are hosted on our own servers and delivered directly from this site. No connection to Google servers is established when you visit, and no IP address or user agent is transmitted to Google for font delivery.

If you contact me by email, I process your data to handle the inquiry (Art. 6 (1) b GDPR). Data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required.

This site links to external platforms (rubsterbestplans.com, TrainingPeaks, Instagram and others). Their data processing is governed by their respective privacy policies.

You have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21 GDPR) at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. Requests: management@rubsterbest.com.
